Southwest Corridor Housing Strategy

At the January Community Works Steering Committee meeting, the Steering Committee voted unanimously to accept the final draft of the Southwest Corridor Housing Strategy.  The Committee also asked that the Strategy be distributed to member cities and other partners for action as appropriate.

The Southwest Corridor Housing Strategy is the culmination of 3 years of housing work, beginning with the Corridor-wide Housing Inventory, completed in 2013 and the Southwest Housing Gaps Analysis, completed in 2014.  Technical oversight for the Southwest Corridor housing work is provided by the Southwest Housing Workgroup, which is comprised of housing staff from member cities and representatives from partner organizations, including Family Housing Fund, LISC, Metropolitan Council, Minnesota Housing, Southwest Project Office and ULI-MN.
